Our Business Entrepreneurship program consists of small-scale business projects, training in business management, and funding for business start-ups.

CETRUD believes in entrepreneurship: the practice of starting new businesses in response to identified opportunities. Entrepreneurship is very often a difficult undertaking, and a majority of new businesses fail. But entrepreneurship may result in creating Job opportunities not just for the entrepreneur, but for others.

Entrepreneurial ventures seek venture capital or funding in order to begin and build a new business. Many kinds of small business now exist in our local villages or towns. CETRUD started its Business Entrepreneurship program in order to provide the necessary skills, such that participants can start a small business. This they can enlarge later when they have enough accumulated capital, or when they have the capacity to borrow additional funds from bigger banks or other lending institutions. If successful, such businesses can significantly improve the lives of people in poor rural communities.

CETRUD's Services ränge from training in business management, accounts management, marketing and quality improvement of the products.

After an individual has received adequate training, we offer small seed funds ranging from US$200 - 400 to start a small business. Primarily, these funds are provided to women, widows and the youth. Recipeints of the grants must demonstrate how they will convert their business ideas into reality and succeed in their business venture.
